The Centre was established in the year 1998 by investing the wide experience of the establisher Professor Abdel-Latif Ashmaig in all parts of Sudan beside the experience gained from the outside world. Efforts are focused on medical enhancement in general and particularly in Obstetrics & Gynaecology sub-specialties. The centre endevours to provide an enhanced medical modern services . It now became an exemplary clinic of its type servicingor patients from within and outside Sudan. The Cenre offers consultatin and treatment to patients from neighbouring and also to sudanese community working abroad.
The Goals of the Centre.
1. To present an exemplary enhancement of reputable medical treatment in Sudan.
2. Application of the highest achieved technology in Gynecology, women health, infertility and scanning.
3. To provide complete medical care related to women diseases, gynecology and In- vitro fertility treatment in one stop clinic.
نشأة المركز
نشأ المركز الإستشاري لأمراض النساء والتوليد والعقم في عام 1998 م مستنداً على تجارب وخبرات ثرة خاضها مؤسس المركز اللواء شرطة بروفيسور عبداللطيف عشميق خليفة في كل أصقاع السودان إلى جانب تجاربه التي نقلها من العالم الخارجي ومواكبته للتطور المطرد في مجالات الطب عامة ومجال أمراض النساء والتوليد خاصة , حيث يهدف المركز لتقديم خدمات طبية متطورة حتى أنه أصبح قبلة للعديد من المرضى من داخل وخارج السودان حيث يرتاده العديد من الزوار من دول الجوار بالإضافة إلى السودانيين العاملين بالخارج.

بناء نموذج للخدمة الطبية المتطورة بالسودان.
إدخال أحدث ما توصل إليه العلم من تقنيات في مجال أمراض النساء والتوليد والعقم والموجات فوق الصوتية.
تقديم خدمة طبية متكاملة بحيث يتوفر كل ما يتعلق بتخصص أمراض النساء والتوليد والعقم في مركز واحد

هل العقم مشكلة قاصرة على المرأة؟
ذلك غير صحيح . فنحو ثلث حالات العقم تعود للمراة وهو مايعرف (عامل الأنثى). في ثلث اخر تعود الأسباب للرجل وبسمى (عامل الذكر) . أماالحالات المتبقية فهي ناتجة عن مزيج من عاملى الذكر والأنثى أو لأسباب أخرى غير معروفة.
وحدة الصحة الإنجابية بالمركز لديها خبرة طويلة في علاج العقم عبر خيارات لعلاج المتعددة لحالات العقم عند النساء ومشاكل العقم لدى الذكور.
Is infertility a woman's problem?
It is not. In only about one-third of cases is infertility due to the woman (female factors). In another one third of cases, infertility is due to the man (male factors). The remaining cases are caused by a mixture of male and female factors or by unknown reasons.
